My work examines the ephemeral qualities of memory. By either remembering things accurately or as a fantasy, memory shapes our reality. Its power and influence is easy to overlook because of its impermanent nature, but it impacts our beliefs and quietly influences our identities. My inspiration comes from these juxtapositions. I use artists’ books to explore these ideas through concept, narrative, and form. This format allows me to process and archive my own experiences while experimenting with what a book can be.
